“Why is it that the words that we write for ourselves are always so much better than the words we write for others?”

– William Forrester, Finding Forrester

For the longest time, I’ve always been writing about something, and those somethings were kept in a blog format. I jumped from topic to topic, but it was always focused on a particular field of interest. I’ve written before about video games, about anime, and about art and writing, but now I feel comfortable enough in myself and in my writing that I can imply just bring them all together into one place where I can write something I feel belongs to me and only me.

This is my sanctuary, and while I may not be explicit in desiring so, it is a sanctuary that is welcome for any and all readers to enjoy. Feel free to comment or simply just sit down and read. There’s not much going on now, but I assure you more will come.

Thanks for following my blog. I’ve had a look round your site too and I definitely agree that writing is my sanctuary.
Thinking about your latest blog post, I’ve been married for 25 years next year and we have 2 children. For me, the marriage part has always been very important but the love is what keeps you going, through all the ups and downs of life.

I find it quite fascinating that a lot of the responses I’ve been getting in regards to my upcoming married life is coming from a lot of experienced husbands and wives. I’m remarkably fortunate to get plenty of advice and support in regards to keeping a marriage afloat; while I’m remarkably scared about the reality of rising divorce rates and whatnot, I find solace in the fact that those who do take that lifelong love approach are still a reasonably large subset of society. I’m simply glad that a lot of them are writing about it! Thanks for visiting!
